Once secured in the slip, we showered and changed into casual evening attire. It was during the back and forth of getting ready that I snuck the diamonds in.
We eventually made out way to the sidewalk cafe, Henry was already there preparing our drinks.
Before sitting she went to the powder room to freshen up from the walk. I sat, sipped my Manhattan, and smiled.
She returned to the table and leaned in to kiss me thank you, diamonds dancing in the candle light.
