My ideal time by water of any size or kind is spent sleeping, reading, and, naturally, watching the people around me, telling their stories in my mind. A simple tote is all I need. Something to carry my towel, a book or magazine, water (or a premixed cocktail), the keys to my condo, and my phone (if I choose to bring it...but remember, less).

This bag has worked so well for my everyday purse as well as a getaway/weekend bag when traveling. The size works well for throwing in my large Stanley cup in the morning for work. I can fit everything I “need” in this bag. The pocket fits my phone and chapstick for easy access. I don’t usually use the zipper closure on the pocket but have found it useful for at the beach to protect my phone from sand. I did want to mention that the color does change over time. I included a picture of the photo Aaron sent me as well as a photo from today so you could see how the color has changed over the past 6 months. After using it heavily for months now I can definitely recommend it! It’s made really well and will last forever!
I am so pleased with my new tote from A.M. Aiken! It is as functional as it is beautiful! The craftsmanship in this made to order bag is one of a kind! From the cutting and dyeing of the leather, perfectly aligned stitching, to custom touches such as the felt-lined cell phone pouch, this is the perfect tote to take wherever life takes you! Recently, I went on a trip and was able to fit all of my normal 'purse items' in it as well as a water bottle and light jacket! In the pictures below, you will see an insert that I purchased from Amazon to keep everything organized. The bag is a great blank slate in that regard, flexible to be used however you see fit at any moment! Aaron is very easy to communicate with and he listened to my desires to what I wanted in a tote and came through with a bag that I will have for years to come!
